Butterfly Wonderland is the largest butterfly conservatory in America. It features a magnificent indoor conservatory that brings a tropical rainforest environment to the Arizona desert where 3,000 butterflies fly freely. In addition, there are interactive exhibits, a Butterfly Emergence Gallery, 3D movie theater, Spineless Giants exhibit, Butterfly Café, Butterfly Treasures Gift Shop, a Rainforest Reptile exhibit and a “bug vending machine” known as the “Edible Insect Station” that teaches visitors about entomophagy – the practice of eating insects. Butterfly Wonderland is open daily at 9 a.m. Cameras are welcome.

Butterfly Wonderland is located within the OdySea in the Desert Entertainment Destination, a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination featuring 4 world-class attractions. Guests can experience the beauty of marine life at OdySea Aquarium, the wonders of one of Mother Nature’s most beloved creatures at Butterfly Wonderland, discover compelling human stories told through authentic artifacts and recreations of the ship’s interior at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and roam through exhibits and true-to-life recreations with 80 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs at Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs. The attractions at OdySea in the Desert are complemented by more than 20 dining, shopping and amusement establishments and an outdoor courtyard that regularly hosts a variety of free events and family entertainment throughout the year. There’s no admission fee to OdySea in the Desert and parking is free.
