April 5 has been designated as Arizona Gives Day, a single day that has raised $4.5 million for non-profits in our state since it began in 2013. According to the Arizona Gives Day website, non-profits in the state impact the local economy in a big way — annually bringing in $22.4 billion, almost 8 percent of Arizona’s gross state product, and employing 324,000 people. Non-profits do an incredible amount of good across the state, but they depend on the generosity of your donations. On this day of giving back to Arizona non-profit organizations, please consider making a contribution to our very own 501(c)3 non-profit, The Butterfly Wonderland Foundation, which provides educational programs for underprivileged children and supports the conservation of the butterflies, butterfly farmers and our rainforest, by clicking here. We also encourage you to visit AZGives.org to help other local non-profits on this day. Happy giving!
